The Complete Hero Duo Ritual

The Hero Duo is designed to work together as a complete practice. Here’s how to use each oil for the full transformative experience:

Body Cleansing Oil: IN the Shower

Your ritual begins with conscious cleansing. The Body Cleansing Oil is used IN the shower or bath to purify and condition your skin:

Method A: Apply 4-5 pumps to damp skin, massaging the oil until it turns milky, then rinse thoroughly

Method B: Pump oil onto dry hands, rub together to warm, then apply to dry skin before entering the shower. Step into the shower and rinse off

Method C (Bath): Add 3-4 pumps to your running bath for an immersive cleansing ritual

Optional with Dry Brushing: For the ultimate experience, dry brush before showering, then apply the Body Cleansing Oil to your dry brushed skin before stepping into the shower and rinsing

Optional with Wet Brushing: For an invigorating in-shower experience, apply the Body Cleansing Oil to damp skin, then use your wet bristle head to gently massage the oil into your skin in circular motions. The combination of the brushing motion with the purifying oil creates a luxurious, spa-like cleansing experience before rinsing

Body Oil: AFTER the Shower

Once you’ve cleansed and are ready to step out, the Body Oil completes your ritual:

1. Turn off the water once you’ve rinsed away the Body Cleansing Oil
2. Lightly pat your skin with a towel, leaving it damp (not soaking, not completely dry)
3. While still in the shower or immediately after stepping out, pump 3-5 pumps of Body Oil into your palms
4. Warm the oil between your hands
5. Smooth over your entire body in slow, intentional strokes, paying attention to areas that need extra care

Why apply to damp skin? The water content enhances penetration and helps seal in hydration below the surface, allowing the botanicals to work most effectively.
